My garage, at least for the fall, has become a bit of an office for Music Spectrum. My workbench doubling as a desk. My garage stereo working pretty well with some nice large speakers. A good place to crank up the music and contemplate life.

Today it is raining, and I pushed play on Landing on the Moon’s We Make History Now. Most of the tracks find Megan Morgan on lead vocals while armed with her piano that bounce the indie rock pop. But today the CD was cued up to two tracks led on vocals by John Klemmensen, the band’s guitarist. “Big E” and “Where Have We Gone?” make great rain music, a jazzy-lilt to the pop-drenched indie rock. It’s the music of contemplating gray days and letting the rain wash over the landscape. It’s a bit of an interruption in LOTM’s mode of operating, but for today, those are the two tracks to let spin in the Music Spectrum garage office.
